Together, they have enabled us reach our number one position, and ensure that we continue to meet our complex and large-scale supply commitments.
HIT's two plants - Italagro and FIT - process over 340,000 tons of tomatoes and produce over 50,000 tons of tomato paste a year. Quality processes and procedures are rigorous, with full traceability from field to final destination.
Both plants are BRCGS certified, M&S approved, Sedex registered and full hold industrial and environmental licenses under Portuguese and European legislation.
Our own processes and procedures are externally certified which means that customers contracting with us for the supply of tomato products, can do so with confidence.
